How to Upload Ballistics to Your Eliminator® 6
This tutorial explains how to build a custom bullet profile and upload it to your Eliminator 6 using the Burris Connect app. Follow each step to ensure accurate ballistic performance in the field.
STOP — Before You Continue
Make sure you have allowed Bluetooth access for the BurrisConnect app in your phone’s system settings.
If Bluetooth permissions are disabled, your scope will not connect — even if Bluetooth is turned on.
What You'll Need
- Your Eliminator 6 riflescope
- A smartphone with the Burris Connect app installed
- Bullet data (factory ammo or handload information)
- (Optional) Chronograph data for accurate muzzle velocity
Step 1: Open Burris Connect and Build a Rifle Profile
- Open the Burris Connect app.
- Navigate to the Ballistics tab.
- Select Add New Rifle to create a new rifle profile.
- Enter your rifle information: name, scope (Eliminator 6), cartridge, sight height, zero distance, and unit preferences.
- Change the rifle image if desired.
- Enter optional notes and tap Save.
Step 2: Build a Custom Bullet Profile
- Select your rifle profile.
- Tap the + button to add a bullet profile.
- Choose ammunition from the factory ammo library, bullet library, or manually enter custom data.
- Verify ballistic details and save the profile.
- For the best accuracy, measure muzzle velocity using a chronograph and update the value in the app.
Step 3: Set Environmental Conditions
- Enter environmental information manually or use the Density Altitude tool to auto-fill values using GPS.
- You can edit these conditions anytime by reopening the bullet profile.
Step 4: Upload Ballistic Data to Your Eliminator 6
- Turn on your Eliminator 6 scope.
- In the app, go to the Optics tab.
- Connect to your scope via Bluetooth.
- Select your scope, then tap Upload Ballistic Data.
- Choose the bullet profile you created.
- Name the ballistic table (optional), review the information, then tap Upload.
- Wait for the progress bar to complete. Do not power off the scope during upload.
Step 5: Verify the Uploaded Profile on the Scope
- Hold the Range button on the Eliminator 6 for 5 seconds.
- The HUD will display the active ballistic profile name for confirmation.
Additional Notes
- The Eliminator 6 stores ballistic data for 16 density altitudes, enabling automatic environmental compensation.
- Manual density altitude adjustments can be made on the scope (covered in other videos).
