Mounting
Burris recommends high-quality 30mm rings such as Burris Zee Rings or Signature Rings. Follow the ring/mount manufacturer’s instructions to prevent damage from improper mounting.
Battery (Illuminated Models)
Select Veracity models use a single CR2032 battery. Use a coin to remove the battery cap on the illumination knob (left side), install battery flat side up (+).
Illuminated reticles are available on select 2.5–12×, 3–15×, and 5–25× models. Reticle illumination enhances visibility in low-light conditions without overpowering the target image.
Illumination brightness is controlled via the illumination knob, allowing the user to precisely adjust intensity to suit ambient lighting conditions and personal preference. The control features 11 brightness settings, with an “off” position between each setting as well as at both ends of the dial.
Eyepiece Focus & Parallax
- Eyepiece focus: Use quick glances while turning the diopter until the reticle is sharp.
- Parallax/focus: Rotate the side knob until the target is sharply focused (or match known distance to index).
Turrets & Zero Stop (Knob Synergy®)
- Elevation: ¼ MOA per click. Clockwise moves impact DOWN, counterclockwise moves impact UP.
- Windage: ¼ MOA per click. Clockwise moves impact LEFT, counterclockwise moves impact RIGHT.
- Zero Click Stop (negative adjustment): Rotate the zero click stop ring to allow additional downward travel while zeroing, then reset after zero is confirmed.

The Pro Knob is an exposed, target-style elevation knob featuring a resettable mechanical zero click stop. A laser-marked scale allows shooters to track elevation adjustments precisely, making it ideal for users who prefer to dial for distance. Once the scope is properly zeroed, follow the steps below to reset the zero click stop and dial ring.
|
|
The Advanced-Capped Knob is a low-profile elevation knob featuring a resettable mechanical zero stop and a laser-marked dial ring for tracking elevation adjustments. The dial ring rotates independently, allowing it to be aligned precisely to “0”. The knob may be left exposed for quick adjustments or capped to prevent accidental movement in the field. Once the scope is properly zeroed, follow the steps below to reset the zero click stop and dial ring.
|
The Standard Windage Knob is a low-profile, capped windage adjustment knob designed for tool-less adjustments and easy tracking of point-of-impact changes. A laser-marked scale allows shooters to monitor windage corrections accurately while maintaining a compact, snag-free profile.
Once the scope is successfully zeroed, the windage dial can be reset to “0” by following the steps below.
- Remove the windage dust cap.
- Using the 1.5 mm hex wrench supplied with the scope, loosen the two set screws located just below the top of the windage knob until they are flush with the outside wall of the turret cap.;
Ensure the screws are loose enough to avoid accidentally spinning the internal turret post. - Gently rotate the windage knob until the “0” marking aligns with the white reference line on the scope tube.
- Retighten the two set screws until firm. Do not overtighten.
