Thermal Smartclip Adaptor — Overview, Sizes & Item Numbers

The Burris Thermal Smartclip Adaptor lets you attach the Burris Thermal Clip-On (BTC) to a traditional riflescope in seconds. The adaptor threads onto the BTC, then clamps over your riflescope’s objective bell using a quick-detach cam lever.
Size is based on the outside diameter (OD) of your scope’s objective bell, not the tube size.

Which Size Do I Need?

1. Measure the outside diameter of your riflescope’s objective bell (in millimeters). Do not use the scope’s stated objective lens size or tube size.
2. Pick the Smartclip size that matches your measured OD (see matrix below).
3. Thread the adaptor onto your Burris Thermal Clip-On, slide over the objective bell, and close the QD cam lever until snug.

Installation (Quick Start)

1. Verify your riflescope’s objective OD matches the Smartclip size you purchased.
2. Thread the adaptor onto your Burris Thermal Clip-On.
3. Slide the adaptor over the objective bell and close the QD cam lever until secure.
4. Confirm alignment/zero per your BTC user manual before live-fire use.
5. Will work with scopes that are +/- 0.5 mm.
