Step 1 — Identify the Use

Start with the primary job. Burris groups optics by these uses on the Selector:

• Western Hunting / Long Range

Step 2 — Confirm the Platform

Step 3 — Pick Key Features

• Speed vs Precision: 1× red dot / LPVO for speed; higher mag + FFP tree reticle for precision. RT-6 is built for speed/3-Gun (true 1×, Ballistic AR).
• Dialing vs Laser Rangefinding: Veracity PH (dial-to-distance + BurrisConnect) vs Eliminator 6 (built-in laser rangefinder & ballistic HUD).
