Tech Notes (Quick Reference)

Zero Click Stop™ & initial sight-in: Scopes ship with the optical center set ~20 MOA below center. If your first shots are high and you need down adjustment, free-spin the elevation knob (loosen 2 mm set screws), dial the required value, then push the knob down to seat against the Zero Click Stop and set “0.” (See detailed steps below.)

A 20 MOA base is recommended to utilize the full range of elevation adjustment.

XT-100 elevation knob: Offers 10 MIL or 25 MOA per revolution (model/scale dependent) for fast multi-turn dialing.

Illumination (CR2032): 11 red + 11 green levels with off detents between settings. Auto “Time-Out” powers down after ~3 hours. To switch color: rotate to OFF (between “11” and “S”), hold to “S” ~5 sec to toggle color, release (returns to OFF).

Parallax / side focus: 25 yds–∞ on 3.3–18×; 20 yds–∞ on 5.5–30×.

M.A.D.™ windage knob: You can run capped or exposed. Set zero at the index mark to preserve full left/right travel.

Race Dial (optional): Writable surface for PRS/NRL dope (fits clear tape); quick note-taking for stages.

Elevation headroom (at a glance): 3.3–18×50 ≈ 120 MOA total; 5.5–30×56 ≈ 90 MOA total.

Setup & Basic Operation

Eyepiece/Diopter Focus

1. Unlock diopter (turn counter-clockwise), glance at a plain background, and rotate until the reticle is sharp black.
2. Lock diopter (clockwise). Avoid staring while adjusting—your eye can “auto-focus.”

Parallax / Focus

Rotate the left-side knob to the target distance (or until the image is sharp). When parallax is set correctly, the reticle won’t appear to shift over the target as your eye position changes.

Zeroing & Zero Click Stop™ (Elevation)

1. Set the elevation dial to “0.” Loosen both 2 mm set screws so the knob free-spins.
2. Turn counter-clockwise slightly more than the clicks needed for your zero; retighten set screws; dial down to zero.
3. Loosen again, press the knob down to seat against the Zero Click Stop, rotate to “0,” retighten.

Windage Zero (M.A.D.™)

Loosen set screws, rotate so “0” aligns with the index mark, then retighten. Ensure zero is at the index to maintain full travel both directions.

Illumination

• Rotary dial with off detents between levels; 11 red and 11 green brightness settings.
• Automatic 3-hour shutoff. Uses one CR2032 cell.
• Color toggle: Rotate to OFF (between “11” and “S”), hold to “S” ~5 sec; release to exit.

Reticles (FFP)

• SCR™ Mil — MRAD grid for measurements and precise holds.
• SCR™ MOA — MOA-based version; extended illuminated center on illuminated models.
• SCR 2™ — “Tree”-style MRAD with 0.2 MRAD graduations for rapid corrections.
