5) Mounting & Setup

Task	Guidance
Rings & Bases	Use quality 30 mm rings/bases (e.g., Signature™/XTR). Ensure proper eye relief & torque per ring/base specs.
Eyepiece Focus	Quick-glance at sky/plain wall; adjust diopter until the reticle snaps crisp/black (don’t stare while turning).
Parallax	Dial the side focus to known distance or until target is sharp and reticle no longer “floats.”
Zero Click Stop	After zero, set turrets to “0.” For multi-turn target knobs, follow the manual’s pull-up/set-screw procedure to gain extra down travel if needed, then reset to “0.”
M.A.D.™ knob swap	At Zero Click Stop, loosen 2 set screws, lift off, install alternate knob, rotate to Zero Click Stop, re-tighten.

6) Care & Service

• Waterproof, fogproof (nitrogen-filled). Avoid disassembly; factory service only.
• Clean lenses: blow/brush grit first; then lens fluid/tissue. Rinse heavy dirt with clean water or lens fluid.
• Covered by the Burris Signature Warranty™.
