Tech note — shutter “click” is normal: When the unit performs a shutter calibration, you may hear a faint click and see the image freeze momentarily. That’s expected behavior and keeps the image optimized; it does not spook game in typical field use.

5) Setup & Use

Task	How to
Mounting	Install included QD base using 2–3 screws (use all 3 for heavy recoil). Torque to 30 in-lb (3.4 Nm). Position in base holes to set eye relief.
Battery install	Use protected 18650 cells 68–71 mm length. Avoid shorter/unprotected cells. Swapping the removable cell won’t power-cycle the unit.
Charging	Charge internal battery via USB-C (5V/2A). LED pulses red while charging; solid green when full. First use: charge ≥4 hrs.
Power & Stand-by	Hold Power for shutdown; release early for Stand-by. Auto Stand-by/Power-off configurable (5/10/15 min; 5/30/60 min).
Focus & Diopter	Set diopter so menu text is crisp; use objective ring for target focus (min focus ~3 ft).
Wi-Fi / App	Enable Wi-Fi, connect to SSID BTS-XXXX, password 12345678, then control/view in BurrisConnect (iOS/Android).
