Tech Notes
• Three ranging modes: Auto (strongest signal), Sport (nearest target), Hunt (farthest target through brush).
• Five display layouts: LOS, HOR, LOS+HOR, LOS+ANG, HOR+ANG — brightness levels 1–5.
• Scan Mode: Hold the Power button for continuous updates; display auto-off after ~10 s.

3) Quick Start (Focus • Menu • Range)

Step	What to Do
Install Battery	Insert CR2 (− outward) into center focus knob.
Set IPD & Eyecups	Align barrels until the circles merge; adjust eyecups.
Focus Diopter	Cover left → set center focus. Cover right → adjust diopter.
Focus Display	Tap Power and adjust display knob until crisp.
Open Menu	Hold Mode ~2s. Power = cycle. Mode = select.
Adjust Brightness	Select levels 1–5.
Range	Tap Power for single range; hold for Scan mode.

7) Troubleshooting

Issue	What to Try
Won’t Power On	Verify CR2 polarity (− outward); replace battery.
Dim Display	Increase brightness; refocus display.
No Range Reading	Clean lenses; confirm mode; try larger target; heavy weather may block laser.

• Blow or brush grit before wiping lenses. For dried mud, use clean water or lens fluid first.
• Do not disassemble — factory service only.
