Tech Notes
• Ranging/aiming: Use the 20-yd dot to range; the bright lower dot is your exact aiming point. Yardage shows ~10 s; aiming dot stays ~90 s.
• Default dots: Hold the activation button ~3 s to show standard dots (20 yd, then every 10 yd).
• Auto sleep: Sight sleeps after ~90 s of inactivity to save power.
• Laser & legality: Visible Class IIIa. Check with your local authorities, or the authorities in the state where you will be hunting for current regulations. 
• Power: One CR123 typically delivers on the order of 1,000–2,000 cycles.

2) Quick Start (Mount • Power • Range & Calibrate)

Step	Guidance
Mount	Attach to riser with two standard screws (1/8″ hex). Torque ≈ 60 in-lb (hand-tight with supplied L-wrench).
Activation switch	Velcro to grip (index- or pinky-finger reach). Wrap excess wire on the storage disc; secure along riser.
Battery	Install 1× CR123 (bottom cap). Expect roughly 1–2k activation cycles per cell.
20-yd zero	Use the permanent 20-yd index on the trajectory bar. Snug windage/elevation locks (~30 in-lb).
Laser align	Install the red alignment laser; aim at the Oracle-2 target (laser aim point is ~2.5″ right). Adjust ~½″/click @ 20 yd; remove laser when finished.
Trajectory cal	Set SR1 at ≥30 yd and SR2 at ≥40 yd (≥10 yd apart). Optionally add SR3 & SR4 (each ≥10 yd farther). Use UP/DOWN to center groups; press S to save.
Profiles	Store two arrow setups (AS1/AS2)—e.g., field points vs. broadheads—via M button.

4) Left-Handed Setup & Rear Sight (Optional)

• LH shim: Swap the RH shim for the LH shim (printed “Left Hand”) between the arm and sight body; note the laser adjust directions invert (UP moves dot down, LEFT moves dot right).
• Rear sight module: Mount between riser and sight (or at quiver holes), as high as practical. Helps align the ranging laser (reduced bow-hand torque) and improves ranging without drawing.

5) Troubleshooting (Laser Alignment)

• Nock height: Set arrow perpendicular to string (common with modern drop-away rests). Too high/low can exhaust elevation adjustment for laser alignment.
• Arrow rest: Keep “center-shot”; far left/right can exhaust windage adjustment for laser alignment.

6) Safety & Warranty

• Laser safety: Avoid direct eye exposure; do not view through optics; avoid mirror-like surfaces.
• Legality: In some states the Oracle bowsight is not legal for big-game hunting—verify local regulations.
• Warranty: Covered by the Burris Signature Warranty™ (no receipt/no questions asked for defects or damage; some cosmetic damage may be excluded).
