Tech Notes — Astigmatism, Blurry Dots & Setup Tips
• Astigmatism: Uncorrected astigmatism or dry eyes can make the dot look like a starburst/comet. Check by viewing the dot through a phone camera (should look crisp), and/or lower brightness.
• Training (carbines/handguns): Bring the sight close to your eye to acquire the dot, then press out slowly while keeping it centered; repeat until presentation is automatic.
• Emitter cleanliness: Smudges, oil, or dust on the small emitter lens can blur/flare the dot. Blow off dust, use a soft lens brush, then (only if needed) a tiny amount of lens cleaner on microfiber. Avoid harsh solvents; do not touch the LED.

2) Mounting (Picatinny)

Attach	Loosen the right-side base screw, fit over the rail, set eye relief, then tighten the base screw to 45 in-lb.
Positioning	Keep light forward pressure toward the muzzle while tightening so the clamp seats against the recoil face.

3) Power, Brightness & Auto-Off

On/Off: Press any top button to turn on. Hold the rear/top button for ~4 s to power off.
Brightness: Use the forward/back buttons to select among 7 brightness settings (4 visible-daylight + 3 night-vision levels).
Auto-shutoff: After 4 hours on visible settings or 8 hours on NV settings, the sight powers off to preserve battery.

4) Battery (AAA)

Install: Open the front cap, insert the AAA with the “+” end first, and tighten the cap completely.
Storage: For extended storage, remove the battery.

5) Zeroing

Adjusters: Elevation on top; windage on right. Arrows indicate direction of impact shift.
Click value: 0.5 MOA per click; total travel 110 MOA (windage and elevation).
Use a small screwdriver; make small changes and confirm at distance.
