Tech Note — “Clicking” sound: At times you may hear a faint
click from the thermal. This is the internal shutter
performing a refresh (NUC) to maintain image quality. This is normal operation
and has been field-tested while hunting—
animals do not hear it.

3) How to Measure for a Smartclip
- Remove caps/sunshades from your daylight scope’s objective bell.
- Use calipers to measure the outside diameter (OD) at the front of the objective bell.
- Choose the Smartclip whose size (mm) equals your measured OD.
- Thread the adapter on the BTC (M33.5×0.75), clamp to the scope, and lock the cam lever.

4) Power & Batteries
- Two 16340 (RCR123) rechargeable cells; hot-swap supported (open one door at a time).
- CR123A 3V will work but are not recommended (reduced runtime, especially in cold).
- USB-C external power extends runtime (does not charge cells while running). USB-C→RCA provides analog video out.

- RapidZero workflow: Select shot distance (50/100/200/300/400 yd/m) → set Daylight Scope POA (cursor X/Y) → fire one shot → Freeze → move X/Y to bullet POI → Exit & Save.
8) Reticle (US Models)
- 10 reticle types; colors: Red, Green, Blue, Black, White, Yellow. Illumination: Center Dot or Center Cross (or Off).
9) Care
- Protect the germanium lens; clean only when needed with lens-safe tools (blower, brush, lens pen/cleaner).
