What It Is

The AR-Tripler adds 3× magnification behind a 1× (non-magnified) optic or red dot. The AR-QD Pivot Ring lets you flip the Tripler out of the way for 1× use and lock it upright for 3×. The Tripler contains no reticle; it simply magnifies your primary sight picture. Not recommended for use behind already-magnified optics.

Mounting & Setup

1. Positioning: Mount the Tripler between your eye and the primary optic. Place it as far rearward as comfortable to maintain a consistent cheek weld.
2. Primary Optic Spacing: Mount the primary optic immediately in front of the Tripler. Increasing the gap reduces field of view.
3. QD Tension: If the QD handle won’t close or the mount is loose, remove from rail. With the handle open, press it toward the base to disengage the nut, then turn the nut to tighten/loosen. Reinstall and test.
4. Focus: Use the Tripler’s ocular focus ring to bring both the target and the red-dot/reticle into sharp focus.
5. Centering: Use the Tripler’s windage/elevation screws to center the red dot within the Tripler’s view. These adjustments do not change point of impact.
6. Flip Operation: Press the Pivot Release Button to move between the two self-locking positions (1× flipped-aside ↔ 3× upright).
7. Torque (if disassembled): Ring top screws: 20 in-lb.
