The Truing Process fine-tunes your Oracle X to match your specific bow setup. This ensures that the point of aim (POA) matches the point of impact (POI) at various distances.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Enter the Setup Menu

• Power on the scope (press the fire button to wake).
• Press and hold Fire + Up for 3 seconds to enter the Setup Menu.

2. Access the Truing Menu

• Use Up/Down arrows to scroll to TRUING.
• Press the Right arrow to enter.

3. Select a Set Range (SR) Slot

• You can store up to four truing distances: SR1 – SR4.
• Use Up/Down arrows to select a slot.
• Press Right arrow to begin setting the distance.

4. Range Your Target

• Press the Fire button to range your target.
• A hold-over LED will illuminate for aiming.
• Minimum distance is 30 yards (a DST error appears if closer).

5. Adjust the Hold-Over LED

• Shoot at least 3 bolts using the suggested LED hold-over point.
• Compare POI to POA:
  • If POI is low, press Down arrow to move aiming point lower.
  • Old LED = flashing; New LED = solid.
• Shoot 3 more bolts and fine-tune until POI = POA.

6. Save the Calibration

• Press the Right arrow to save.
• Display will flash DONE three times.
• System then advances to the next SR slot.

7. Repeat for Additional SR Values

• For longer distances, repeat steps for SR2, SR3, SR4.
• Range, shoot, adjust, and save.

8. Exit the Truing Menu

• Press Left arrow to return to normal operation.

9. Verify Calibration

• Shoot at various distances in normal mode.
• If accuracy is off at a distance, return to TRUING and adjust or add an SR slot.

Sample Range Configurations

Short-Range Setup (~50 yds):

• SR1 = 35 yds
• SR2 = 50 yds

Long-Range Setup (~100 yds):

• SR1 = 40 yds
• SR2 = 75 yds
• SR3 = 100 yds

Note: For crossbows shooting over 400 FPS, you must use all four SR points for accurate calibration. Recommended setup: SR1 = 40 yds, SR2 = 60 yds, SR3 = 80 yds, SR4 = 100 yds.
