Veracity PH Scope – Setup & Connection Guide
STOP — Before You Continue
Make sure you have allowed Bluetooth access for the BurrisConnect app in your phone’s system settings.
If Bluetooth permissions are disabled, your scope will not connect — even if Bluetooth is turned on.
Learn how to properly power, connect, and configure your Burris Veracity PH scope using the BurrisConnect app.
Step 1: Install Batteries
To power the HUD, reticle, and Bluetooth:
- Remove the battery cap on the left side of the scope by turning counterclockwise.
- Insert two CR2450 batteries stacked with flat sides together.
- Reinstall and tighten the battery cap by turning clockwise until snug.
- The scope functions mechanically without power but requires batteries for HUD and app features.
Step 2: Enable Bluetooth Mode
- Rotate the illumination dial to the Bluetooth (BT) position (second from the end).
- Check the HUD to verify it’s on (it should read “User Defined Profile”).
- Ensure your phone has Bluetooth enabled and is within a few feet of the optic.
Step 3: Download the BurrisConnect App
- Download BurrisConnect from the iOS App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app, go to the Optics tab, then tap Manage Optics.
- Select Veracity PH and complete pairing.
Step 4: Build a Custom Ballistic Profile
- Navigate to the Ballistics tab and tap the + icon.
- Name your rifle profile (e.g., Benelli Lupo 300 Win Mag).
- Select your scope model and cartridge.
- Enter scope height above bore (e.g., 1.5") and zero distance (100 yd).
- Save the rifle profile.
Step 5: Add Bullet Data
- Tap into your rifle profile, then tap + to create a bullet profile.
- Select from factory ammunition or enter handload data manually.
- Save once muzzle velocity, BC, drag model, and bullet weight are confirmed.
Step 6: Set Environmental Conditions
- Choose Density Altitude to let the app auto-populate conditions.
- Manually adjust wind speed and direction using a clock-face system.
Step 7: Upload Ballistic Data to the Scope
- In the Optics tab, select your scope and tap Upload Ballistic Data.
- Choose the rifle and bullet profiles you created.
- Tap Upload and wait for confirmation in the HUD.
Step 8: Configure Scope Display Settings
- Elevation units (yards, meters, or MOA)
- Inclination compensation (if your rangefinder lacks it)
- Digital level sensitivity (½°, 1°, or off)
- HUD timeout and auto-sleep settings
Heads-Up Display Overview
The scope’s HUD can display distance, inclination angle, wind holdovers, reticle cant (digital level), and battery status.
Reticle Subtensions
Know your hold points by referencing your scope’s subtension map for your specific Veracity PH reticle.
