How to Connect the Eliminator® 6 to the Burris Connect App
This guide walks you through connecting your Eliminator 6 to the Burris Connect app, uploading ballistic profiles, and adjusting HUD and system settings.
STOP — Before You Continue
Make sure you have allowed Bluetooth access for the BurrisConnect app in your phone’s system settings.
If Bluetooth permissions are disabled, your scope will not connect — even if Bluetooth is turned on.

What You Need
- Your Eliminator 6 riflescope
- One CR123A battery
- A smartphone (Apple or Android)
- The Burris Connect app (free in the App Store or Google Play)
- Your Eliminator 6 User Manual
Step 1: Download the Burris Connect App
- Open the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for “Burris Connect.”
- Download and install the app.
Step 2: Install the Battery in the Eliminator 6
- Remove the battery cap on the left side of the scope.
- Insert the CR123A battery in the correct orientation.
- Align the pins and reinstall the battery cap until secure.
Step 3: Power On and Connect to the App
- Press the front rangefinder button to power on the scope.
- Look through the optic — if the battery icon appears, the unit is on.
- Open the Burris Connect app:
- Tap on the Optics tab
- Tap the + symbol
- Select Eliminator 6
- Follow the on-screen instructions. The app will prompt you to press the front button again.
- When your scope appears (identified by serial number), tap it to connect.
Step 4: Customize Your Heads-Up Display (HUD)
After pairing, you can configure the Eliminator 6 HUD to your preferences.
Key Adjustable Options:
- Range units: yards or meters
- Temperature: °F or °C
- Energy: ft-lbs or joules
- Velocity: ft/sec or m/sec
- Wind units: mph, kph, or m/sec
- Shot Call Marker: enable/disable or set energy/velocity threshold
Step 5: Control What You See on the HUD
Your HUD contains 11 display zones, each of which can be turned on or off.
Two Display Stages
- Initial Timeout — what appears immediately after ranging
- Extended Timeout — what appears after 15, 30, or 60 seconds
To Edit The Display Settings:
- Select the zone you want to configure.
- If the icon is bright red, the zone is active.
- To adjust the display timeout values:
- Press on Initial Timeout: 5–30 seconds
- Press on Extended Timeout: 15–60 seconds
Step 6: Adjust the Level Indicator
- Choose from three level indicator display styles.
- Select bubble or ball graphic.
- Set sensitivity to 0.5° or 1°.
Note: All changes sync instantly to the scope. No “Save” button needed.
